About Earlina Velting
My name is Earlina Velting, and I am running as a candidate for the Board of Education for the Caledonia Community School district. My husband, Mark, and I have been married for over 43 years and have called the Caledonia community our home for over 33 years. I am a Mother of four and a Grandmother of 9.
All four of my children attended Caledonia Community Schools and 7 of our grandchildren currently go to school in the district, with our oldest being a proud ‘Fighting Scot’ graduate as of this past year. I know the incredible impact that our schools have on our community. As a Mom, I’ve been active in our school district for over 30 years, volunteering as a Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) member and serving on committees, to planning events, fundraisers and also helping with various sporting activities.
​​​As a Grandmother, I get to continue to volunteer and enjoy district events as my grandchildren are involved in various sports and the school’s band. In addition to my involvement with our schools, I have also helped manage our family’s local business for over 20 years, serving as a bookkeeper. Additionally, I have been active on our Homeowners Association Board at Campau Lake for over 8 years and worked in the healthcare industry for 15 years prior.
My husband and I currently reside on Campau Lake, where we enjoy boating and spending time with family and friends. The Caledonia Community School district means so much to my family, my children and grandchildren are all proud to have attended Caledonia Community Schools and it would be an honor to serve YOU and give back to our community to ensurefuture generations experience an even better Caledonia Community School district for years to come.
